The 2-1 Cavalry Reunion will be held September 10-14, 2008 at Ft Riley, KS. While the principal emphasis of the organization is for Vietnam vets, all former troopers who honorably served with the unit are eligible to attend. REUNION III will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Apopka (Orlando) Florida as part of the Marine Corps League 85th National Convention. 3/11 will have its own hospitality suite from 8-14-08 through 8-16-08. Branson (MO) Veterans Homecoming

2006 Branson (MO) Veterans Homecoming "American tribute to all Veterans" America's largest Veterans Day celebration, "Veterans Homecoming," takes place in Branson, Missouri, 5-11 November. This seven-day tribute includes many special events, many of which are free and all of which present patriotic salutes to veterans. Words are inadequate to describe the many moving moments as Branson entertainers and community members, young and old, pay tribute to America's heroes. *Free tickets (limited seating) must be picked up by noon on Saturday, 11 Nov. for Closing Ceremonies. 25 May 2008 - HEROES OF THE VALLEY - A FUNDRAISER for THE FRESNO VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM will be held at 3:00 pm at the Legion of Valor Museum (2425 E. Tulare Street, Fresno)
Tickets for Adults are $15. Tickets for children under the age of 12 are $10 each. There is an additional cost of $7.50 for a Tri-tip meal. For more information call: 559-323-9226. Donations and ticket sales received prior to May 25, 2008 will receive matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. All donors, whether donating by mail or online, will receive a receipt from the Veterans Memorial Museum for tax purposes.
